About me
Monique Grindell, an English language educator for over 30 years, has taught at Pacific University, worked with adult refugees, and taught in Mexico, Spain, Morocco, and India. As an English Language Fellow and Specialist, she has trained teachers and designed curricula, including for an anti-trafficking organization in India. Monique’s professional development has focused on teacher training, climate change, and social-emotional learning. She lives in a co-housing community in Tucson, Arizona, is fluent in Spanish, and speaks intermediate French. Connecting with diverse cultures, nature, reading, and dancing brings her joy. She is also a proud mother of two.
