About me
Dr. Brenda Custodio is a retired teacher for Columbus City Schools, and currently teaches at Ohio State University and serves as an educational consultant. She is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences on literacy for English learners, working with newcomers, students with trauma, and students with interrupted education, especially refugees. She is the author of How to Design and Implement a Newcomer Program and the co-author of Students with Interrupted Formal Education with Judith O’Loughlin.
