  • Promote scholarship
  • Disseminate information related to ESOL
  • Strengthen instruction, teacher training, and research in the teaching of English to speakers of other languages

Since adult ESL programs usually include diverse students, teachers need to incorporate activities that promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). The purpose of this session is to present activities that ESL instructors can implement in their classes to enhance the DEI. Audience will discuss and leave with practical DEI-driven activities.
